Drama
If you want to know just how great the opportunities are in Carver's drama program, talk to Lindsay ('08). In her final year in high school, Lindsay gave leadership in a play called "Softening Stone" which she wrote herself-plot, script, and all! The drama club at Carver is creative and innovative, full of the kind of encouraging attitude that would enable any student to display his or her gifts onstage-and at a small school like Carver, there is even more opportunity to do so! You might have the opportunity to write, direct, or take a lead role in one of the dramatic productions presented each semester. James ('07) and Michael ('07), students of the grad class 2007, had the unique opportunity to co-direct in Carver's first ever production of "Nothing But the Truth." Mercedes ('07) was also able to use her design skills to build a set and to be the backstage director.
